BuyWatch™ helps users track product prices, view price history, and compare product prices across supported retailers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about your data.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name and email, feedback, support requests, and product URLs or items you choose to track.
We may also collect app usage information, app version and build number, device model, platform, and operating system version, internal analytics events, subscription status, and technical information needed to operate and improve BuyWatch.
Product and price tracking data
When you add products to your BuyWatch watchlist, we store details such as the product URL, retailer, product title, current price, previous prices, and related price-checking information.
BuyWatch uses this information to provide price tracking, price history, comparison features, alerts, and related app functionality.
Analytics
We may collect internal analytics information to understand how BuyWatch is used, improve app performance, and fix issues. Analytics may include screen views, feature usage, app version, device model, operating system version, and general usage events.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, BuyWatch may send you notifications about tracked products, price changes, alerts, or service updates. You can manage notification permissions via the app and also via your device settings.
Subscriptions
BuyWatch may offer paid subscription features. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We may store subscription status and related entitlement information so the app can provide the correct account features.

Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide BuyWatch, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve the service, and maintain app security. Some product and price history information may be retained to support price tracking and historical price features.
Account deletion
You may delete your account via the BuyWatch tab in the app. When an account is deleted, your data will be deleted or personal information made anonymous where reasonably possible, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Children's privacy
BuyWatch is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
